Dartmoor’s Atlas of Antiquities

This is a 5 volume set of books about the archaeology of Dartmoor – the name may be rather ‘Victorian’ but this series details where Dartmoor’s archaeology is and what it is. It is pretty comprehensive covering sites from the Stone Age up to the Victorian period. Dartmoor is one of the most important historic landscapes in Western Europe and these book expertly written by Jeremy Butler explain why.
