Lydford Gorge – 3 autumn videos

I went for a short walk around parts of Lydford Gorge yesterday. The Gorge is not fully open now and is operating under its winter hours opening – if you plan to visit check our website first to ensure you are not disappointed. NB access to the White Lady Waterfall is possible all year round. See here for further details.

  1. Thank you very much Adrian for theses videos, so fresh. I would like so much see Dartmoor in autumn… One day i’ll be back !

  2. Great place Lydford Gorge. You may be interested in this great cycle that really is picturesque and takes you from Tavistock, through the delightful village of Peter Tavy and up onto the moors in the Dartmoor National Park. By using part of the 27 national cycle route, you avoid the main roads and are soon cycling along country lanes with amazing views of Brentor and the Tors towards Lydford.

If you or your readers are interested we’ve written up about it on our LocalDevon site and included photos to help with the route. It’s worth a try!
