When you travel to the Isles of Scilly on the Scillonian you can’t fail to notice St Michael’s Mount in Mount’s Bay next to Marazion – it is one of Cornwall’s most iconic places. It is a Castle set high up on an island just off the shore. It is owned by the National Trust and is managed jointly with the St Aubyn Estate who donated the property to the NT. See here for further details. If you are planning to visit you need to note that the property closes on the 1st November and isn’t open again until next February half term.
