A colourful hoverfly

Found this little hoverfly in the Walled Garden at Parke yesterday. Very attractive warning colouration – ‘I’m black and yellow, I look like a wasp, wasps sting so don’t eat me’. Hoverflies of course don’t have stings but fool you into thinking they do.
