Fingle Woods and Granite & Gears

Yesterday afternoon I was in Fingle Woods with Dave Rickwood of the Woodland Trust and Emma Dalton of Devon County Council. We were  discussing the finer details of our recent award of £128k to improve the riverside path along the River Teign at Fingle so that it can be used as a family friendly cycle trail as well as a walking path.

The £128k grant has come from Devon County Council’s  and the DNPA’s Granite and Gears project which is centrally funded by the Department of Transport. Thank you all very much indeed!
