River Teign at Castle Drogo

Every now and again you take a photo you are really pleased with. Here is one I took yesterday on the River Teign just under Castle Drogo. It has had a great response on the Dartmoor NT and Save Castle Drogo Facebook sites so I thought I would post it here too along with a couple of others.

The etherial effect on the water is caused by a 15 second exposure.

This is a variant on the the theme!

And finally here is a panoramic shot of the weir just above Fingle Bridge.

These places are all on the classic walk from Fingle Bridge up the Teign to the Iron Bridge and back – about 4 miles – a Dartmoor classic.
