The view across Plymouth

October 5, 2011

Had a meeting today with Plymouth City Council, South  Hams District Council, Natural England, the Forestry Commission and ourselves (The National Trust on Dartmoor and at Saltram). We were discussing the Green Infrastructure Project and how we were going to make a successful, good value project which delivers real benefits for people and the environment even better in 2012.

Good stuff and lots of exciting new things for next year which will make a real different.

In addition to the outcomes of the meeting we had what must be one of the most fantastic views in the country. We had our meeting on the top floor of Salt Quay  House overlooking Sutton Harbour. OK it was an overcast day and it was raining but look at the panoramic views.

Looking down on the harbour with the Barbican and the Hoe in the background.

The Hoe in the background and the main city to the right.

Looking south to the National Aquarium and the Hoe.

Fantastic view in a fantastic city.
